Mr. Felton Lamar, Jr. a resident of Montgomery, Alabama passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Noland Hospital Montgomery, Alabama.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 12pm from Father Son & Holy Ghost Church, 583 Booth Street Prattville, Alabama with Bishop Algie Morgan Pastor officiating.  Burial to follow at Walter Jones Cemetery Pickett Mill Road Autaugaville, Alabama.

-OBITUARY-

Felton Lamar was born October 10, 1957 to the late S. L. Felton Lamar and Leanna Lamar Hall. He peacefully transitioned this earthly life on September 26, 2017 to take his eternal rest.

He confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Father, Son & Holy Ghost Church under the leadership of Bishop John Sidney Baker. He moved from Alabama to better himself. He returned  back to Montgomery in 2015 and rejoined the Father, Son and Holy Ghost Church under the leadership of Bishop Algie Morgan.

He was a dedicated father and a very hard worker. He attended Cincinnati State where he studied psychology and culinary arts.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Leroy Lamar.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his children: Demetreus Lamar, Quintay Felton Lamar, Dontay R Lamar and Damalar Lamar all of Cincinnati Oh; grandchildren: Grant Lamar, Denesha Lamar, Destiny Chukwudebe, Ezra Davis and Quintay Lamar; a loving step-father: Frank (Rose) Hall, Montgomery, AL; three sisters: Carolyn (Ernest) Gorman, Juanita (Joseph) Barganier and Patricia (Leonard) Cobb all of Montgomery, AL; two brothers: James Edward Lamar, Panama City, FL and Billy Wayne Hall, Montgomery, AL; sister-n-law: Linda Lamar, Montgomery, AL; two uncles: Julius Lamar, Chicago, IL and Lonnie (Mildred) Stoudemire, Montgomery, AL; five aunts: Rosa Cowling, Wooster, Oh, Flora Pickett, Kathy Lamar, Louise Hardy all of Montgomery, AL and Luthina Hall of Autaugaville, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
