Mrs. Mary Alice Robinson age 90, a resident of Prattville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at her residence.  Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1pm from Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. David L. Benton, Sr. Pastor officiating.  Burial to follow at Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Mary A. Robinson was born March 22. 1927 to the late Mr. Calvin "Dutch" Pugh and Ollie Lee Houser Pugh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Robinson, Sr., brothers Moses, Lewis, Harvey, Herbert and Daniel Pugh. She is also preceded in death by her sisters Frances Harris, Jeanette Butler, Josie Wilder Evans, Carolyn Smith, Gloria Grayson; grandson Lavell Adair, granddaughter Malinda Byrd and son, Rev. Timothy Robinson.

Mrs. Robinson confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist church, where she reorganized the Missionary Department and served as president for 17 years. She also sang in the choir from early childhood until her transition to the heavenly choir. Mrs. Robinson received her education for the Mount Sinai Elementary School and Loveless High School in Montgomery, Alabama. Upon graduation, she worked at South Haven Manor Nursing Facility in Montgomery, Alabama, Prattville General Hospital, Memorial Manor Nursing Facility and later became a traveling nurse's assistant.

She leaves to cherish her memories, four sons, Henry Robinson, Robert L. (Debra) Robinson, Willie D. (Lois) Gibbons, of Prattville, Alabama and James Jackson of Cocoa, Florida; two daughters Erma J. (J.C.) Thomas of Chicago, Illinois, Mary O. Adair of Prattville, Alabama; one brother Calvin (Margaret) Pugh of Anniston, Alabama and one sister Ollie M. Goodson, of Gary, Indiana.

She also leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter-in-law, DeKoslyn Robinson of Phenix City, Alabama; 14 grandchildren, beloved great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, special friends and family members.
