Ethel "Louise" Hardy was born on September 3, 1945 to Gladys J. Hardy and Sam Hardy in Green County, AL. She departed this life on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Prattville Health and Rehabilitation Center in Prattville, AL. Louise accepted Christ at an early age and joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a faithful member and choir member until her health began to fail.
Louise began her working career at Klear Pack Plastics in Long Island, NY. There she served four years until relocating back home to Alabama. She then began her twelve year career at Victorian Furniture Company in Montgomery, AL. She later served several months at Mr. T's Restaurant in Prattville, AL.
Louise had a passion of caring for others. She provided childcare services in her home for anyone in need. She had a heart of gold and believed in lending a helping hand. She was always a blessing to others, whether keeping their children, giving them a place to stay or cooking plenty of food for sharing.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents; Two sons, Joey Acevedo Sr. and Baby Hardy; One brother, Henry O. Goodson; One sister, Margia M. Davis, who she loved dearly; Four nephews, Patrick Motley, Anthony Howard, Mantel Davis and Charles 'Tony' Sherman.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories; One son, Tshombe (Shalandria) Hardy, Sr., Autaugaville, AL; Three sisters; Debrah Goodson, Helen Pettus-Tyus and Alma (Nathaniel) Brown, all of Prattville, AL; Four brothers: Algia (Nancy) Motley, Jr., Wake Forest, NC, Clemon (Diana) Motley, Prattville, AL, Preston (Bettye) Motley, Prattville, AL and Jeffrey (Ava) Motley, Marietta, GA; Four grandsons: Joey (Nidra) Moore, Millbrook, AL, Joey Acevedo, Jr., Ft. Washington, MD, Jamie M. Wylie, Glen Burnie, MD, Tshombe Hardy, Jr., Autaugaville, AL; Five granddaughters: Stacey Acevedo, Ft Washington, MD, Tanesia (Ashanti) Hardy, Killen, TX, Kande Hardy, Diamond Hardy and Princess Hardy, all of Autaugaville, AL; Six wonderful great grandchildren: Jakiya Moore, Millbrook, AL Jaydan and Jordan Moore, both of Prattville, AL, Joey Moore, Jr., Millbrook, AL, Kaidyn Hardy, Autaugaville, AL, Austin J. Acevedo, Ft Washington, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and caring friends.
