Jeffery David Bird

Mr. Jeffery David Bird age 53 a resident of Prattville, Alabama passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System Montgomery, Alabama. A  Memorial service will be held Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11am from Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 362 Walnut Street Prattville, Alabama with Rev. Tom Davis, Pastor officiating.   Burial to follow at the Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Highway 119 Montevallo, Alabama with Military Honors, and the Patriot Guard Riders.

Jeffrey David Bird was born on November 9, 1965 to Betty and Larry Bird.  On December 28, 2018, God called him home. 

Jeff was a kind hearted man with a big heart.  He served eight years in the U. S. Navy.  Some of his favorite hobbies were listening to old school rap music and showing off his skills on the grill.  He loved the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Minnesota Vikings.

Jeff leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Melissa Dozier Bird.  He also leaves his parents, Betty and Larry Bird of St Paul Minnesota; two sons, Matthew Bird of Huntsville, Alabama and Chris Bird of Cullman, Alabama; a stepson Byron Dominique Marshall, a stepdaughter, Jalissa Dozier; four siblings, Dennis (Carol) Bird of London England, Jean (Steven) Peterson, Douglas (Teri) Bird and John (Avery) Bird all of St Paul Minnesota; three grandchildren and a host of friends.
