Joyce Ann (Houser) Dukes

Mrs. Joyce Ann Dukes age 71 a resident of Prattville, AL formerly of Autaugaville, AL passed away Monday, April 8, 2019.  Funeral service will be Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 12pm from Greater Saint Joseph A.M.E. Church Autaugaville, Alabama with Rev. Grandville Anderson,III Pastor officiating.  Burial to follow at Walter Jones Cemetery, Autaugaville, Alabama.

Joyce Dukes was born on October 31, 1947 to the late Owen and Sadie Houser.

Joyce confessed Christ at  an early age and joined Greater Saint Joseph African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Joyce was employed by the Autaugaville High School and Walmart.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Willie Dukes , Sr.; daughter Maxine Dukes; three brothers, Otis Houser, Robert

Houser and Sylvester Pickett; one sister-in-law, Ethel Mann.

Joyce was called to eternal rest on Monday, April 8, 2019.

She leaves to cherish her memories: three sons; Willie (Tomiko) Dukes Jr. of ElPaso , Texas; Frederick (Tuesday) Dukes, Of Prattville, AL; Larry Dukes, of Autaugaville, AL; three sisters, Maxine Houser, Autaugaville, AL; Liza (Darrell) Kirksey, Prattville, AL; Minister Evelyn White Birmingham, AL; one brother, Willis (Shelia) Pickett, Prattville, AL; threesister-in-laws, Lottie Pope, Ruby Shaw nd Evelyn Scott; two brother-in-laws, Clarence (Marcella) Dukes and Larry (Phyllis) Dukes; grandchildren, Brandon Dukes, Jeremy Dukes, Ania Dukes, Saderion Dukes, Keira Dukes and Samiya Dukes all of Prattville, AL; Romello Dukes, Micah Dukes, Sarah Dukes, all of El Paso, Texas; and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friendss.
