Lamar Wilson was born October 13, 1958 in Andalusia, Alabama to Dorothy Wilson Jordan and the late Jesse Lee Peterson. At an early age he joined the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The Lord called him home Thursday, November 14, 2019 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL.

He is preceded in death by two siblings, George Wilson, Jr. and Wanda Jean Fitzpatrick.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted Mother, Dorothy Wilson Jordan, children Rodney Jackson (Montgomery, AL) Heather Danae Wilson (Mobile, AL) Lakeshia Iverson (Plano, TX) and Marian Z. Wilson (Elmore, AL). Siblings, Johnny Wilson (Elmore, AL), Willie Willie Nell (Karl) Sankey, (Montgomery, AL), Bobby Wilson, Jr. Elmore, AL), Steven Fitzpatrick (Elmore, AL) Edward Fitzpatrick (Montgomery, AL), One Step-brother, Jessie (Mary) Peacock (Louisville, KY). A Host of Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces, Great Nieces, Great-Nephews, Cousins and Special Friends.
