Mrs. Lula Owens age 88 a resident of Autaugaville, Alabama passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Baptist Medical Center East Montgomery, Alabama. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11am from Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church, 764 County Road 33 Prattville, Alabama with Rev. Anton Trimble Pastor and Elder Willie Smith, Pastor of Reach Out & Touch Holiness Ministry Autaugaville, Alabama officiating. Burial to follow at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, County Road 45 North Autaugaville, Alabama.

Mrs. Lula Mae Noye Owens was born October 12, 1930 in Autaugaville, Alabama to the late Louis and Rebecca Noye. To this union three children were born, the late Juanita (Robert) Wilson, the late Beulah (OBerdee) Jessie (twin sister) and Lula (Isaac) Owens. She departed this life on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Baptist Medical Center East Hospital in Montgomery, AL.
She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. She later joined the Father, Son & Holy Ghost Church where she was a faithful member. Later in life, she joined Reach Out and Touch Holiness Ministry, where Elder Willie is the pastor, and served as the Mother of the Church until her death.
She was was loved by many and was know in the community as the early morning "Avon Lady". She also brought joy to many children in her community as the neighbor "Snack Lady".
She was joined in holy matrimony to Isaac Owens Sr. and to this union seven children were born. Mary Helen (the late Leo) Burns, Norman (Dorothy) Golson, Jeanetta (Larry) Carroll, Barbara (Willie) Smith, Isaac (Wanda) Owens Jr., the late Wendell Brian Owens and Gregory (Tedra) Owens. She leaves to cherish her memories: 25 Grandchildren, 38 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great-Great Grand-Children, and a host of special nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves to cherish 3 special friends, Luthina Hall, Annie Bell Tyus, and Geraldine Howard.
