Mr. Maxie L. age 61 a resident of Prattville, Alabama passed away Thursday, April 5, 2019. Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 1:30pm from Autauga Hill A.M.E. Zion Church, 1596 Highway 14 West Prattville, Alabama with Rev.Cassandra Field-McCloud, Pastor and Rev. Algie Rawlinson officiating. Burial to follow at Autauga Hill A.M.E. Zion Church Cemetery with Military Honors and Patriot Guard Riders.

Mr. Maxie Lee Ford was born October 28, 1957 to the late Julia Pearl Ford and Roosevelt Golson. Maxie confessed Christ at an early age and join Autauga Hill A. M. E. Zion Church, Prattville, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his mother: Julia Pearl Ford, father: Roosevelt Gollson, Sr., son: Maxie Lee Tatum, brother: Roosevelt Golson, and four sisters: Latisha Ford, Rosa Mae Golson-Harris, Annie Rea Johnson, and Sallie Mae Golson Lewis.
Maxie graduated from Autauga County High School in 1979 and later joined the United States Army. In his spare time Maxie enjoyed spending time with family and helping other in the community. He was well-know for his famous stories and kind heart. He lovred to dance and he never met a stranger.
Precious memories will be cherished by his beautiful family; son Joseph (T' Shumbie) Ford, grandson: Maxie Ford (Prattville, Alabama, four sisters: Fannye Pearl Rogers (Prattville, Alabama), Charlie Mae Dunklin (Montgomery, Alabama), , Ardella Crehshaw (Chicago, Illinois), and Anetta Atkins (Hartford, Connecticut), five devoted brothers: Roosevelt Ford, William James Ford, and Edward Carl Ford all of Montgomery, Alabama, Jimmy (Linda) Ford and Ray Ford all of Prattville, Alabama.
He also leaves memories of a lifetime with a host of relatives and friends.
