Ona Mae Davis was born March 4, 1953 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Grant and the late Lela Mae Andrew's. Ona Mae departed this on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama.
She precedes in death by her daughter; Karen Henderson, her father; Grant Davis, her mother; Lela Mae Andrews, her sisters; Christine Andrews, Della Mae Andrews, Ruby Lee Watts, her brother; Cleophus Pettway. Onnie Mae Davis confessed Christ at an early age where she continued to study the word throughout her life.
Her interests included family, gardening, cooking and reading.
She leaves to cherish her memories, six children: Christy (William) Posey, Bonnie Henderson, Audrey Davis, William Davis, Courtney Davis, all of Montgomery, Alabama, Julian Henderson of Los Angeles California, eleven grandchildren: Britni Posey, William (Shanice) Posey, Alkeela Henderson, Myron Davis, Jeremiah McQueen, Jada McQueen, Destiny Davis, Kourtney Davis, all of Montgomery, Alabama, Makaylen Davis, Kamihal Davis, both of Wetumpka, Alabama, Eric Henderson of Clanton, Alabama, six great-grandchildren: Zalen Posey, Kalen Posey, Paris Posey, Padyn Posey, all of Montgomery, Alabama, Eriel Henderson, Avery Henderson, both of Clanton Alabama, five sisters: Martha Jo Andrews, Carolyn Davis both of Montgomery, Alabama, Betty Heard, Dorothy Pratt, Deloris (James) Thomas, all of Dadeville, Alabama, three brothers: Alex (Shirley) Davis, George (Roberta) Davis, Gerald Davis, all of Dadeville, Alabama, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and any other relatives and friends, and a very special devoted friend, Leo Tyler.
