Sarah Francis Drayton-Robinson was born October 21, 1958 to Lula Mae Drayton and the Late Willie Drayton, Jr., Prattville, Alabama. Sarah confessed Christ at an early age and joined the New Jericho Missionary Baptist Church. Later after marriage, she joined the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. T. L. Goodwin. As God would have it, on September 19, 2019, she entered into her heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her father Willie Drayton, Jr. and sister Priscilla Jean DeRamus. Sarah graduated from the Autauga County High School as a member of the class of 1976. After high school, she earned an Associated Degree in Business from Alabama Lutheran College (Concordia College) Selma, Alabama.
Sarah 's careers included Manager of Shoe City in Prattville, Pharmacy Tech at UniCare Prattville and Pharmacy Tech at Baptist South Hospital for 13+ years Montgomery, Alabama.
She was was a beautiful person and anyone that knew Sarah can't think of her without smiling or laughing. Not only was she kind and had a gentle soul, she was simply funny. She had a very special love for her husband, LaVaughn, and their two sons. She was a great-grandmother and treasured her 10 grandchildren.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her husband of 43 years, LaVaughn Robinson; her devoted mother, Lula Mae Drayton; mother-in-law, Hattie P. Hardy, both of Prattville, Alabama; two sons, Corey Robinson (Keoshia) Montgomery, Alabama, Courtney Robinson (Chinnetta), Columbus, GA; Five sisters, Diann smith (Henry), Belvelyn Ford 9Napoleon), Susie Tucker (William), Lucille DeBardelaben (James), Rosemary Bowman (Henry) all of Prattville, AL, Four brothers, Curtis Drayton (Fannie), Billy Drayton (Charlene), Larry Douglas of Prattville, AL, and Carl Drayton Montgomery, Alabama; Two sister-in-laws, Valerie Robinson, Prattville, Alabama and Andrea Mitchell (AI) Anniston, Alabama; Two brothers-in-laws, Jeffrey hardy, Prattville, AL and Jay Hardy (Jennifer) Texas; Two dear friends that she loved, Angela Cowling and Vivian McClenney. A host of nieces, nephew, friends and other relatives.
