Vance Nicklson Obituary

The late Mr. Vance Cordell (Pork) Nicklson was born March 14, 1964, in McKeesport, PA to the late, Joseph Robert's and Barbara Jean Turner.  Pork was raised by his mother and step-father Moylan Turner in Clairton, PA.  There, he confessed Christ at an early age.  Pork was a member of the 1982 class of The Clairton Education Center in Clairton, PA.  Pork was a two time eastern conference lineman for the Clairton Bears and played his collegiate football for The University of California.  Pork moved to Riverdale, GA, where he married Christine Anderson and joined the Temple of Hope Ministries.  Work and Chris moved to Montgomery, AL, There, they united with the Lily Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he served faithfully until his health failed him.  Pork was one of the nicest giants you could meet.  Even in sickness, he would still call home every week asking about and rooting for his beloved Clairton Bears.  Pork transition from this life on November 25, 2019.  He leaves to cherish his memories, Wife Christine Nicklson; sons: Delvern  DeBardelaben of Montgomery, AL, Anthony  DeBardelaben of Riverdale, GA, Brodrick  Anderson of Prattville, AL: daughters: Tenika Chavis of Pittsburg, PA., Cortnea Brown of Riverdale, GA., Laquita DeBardelaben of Decatur, GA., brothers: Carl (Patricia) Stanton of Oak Park, MI., Curtis Tate of Clinton, MD., Donte (Sandy) Taylor of MN., Sisters: Michelle (Johnie) Washington and Channell Glover of Gary, IN., Antoinette Roberts, Lavina Taylor and Anita (Dennis) Patrick of MN., one brother-in-law: Bennett (Sharla) Anderson of Prattville, AL: three Sisters-in-laws: Jeanette (Donnell) Kirksey of McKeesport, PA.; Gwendolyn Anderson of Prattville, AL; Tangernette (Reggie) Andeson-Williams of Millbrook, AL.; Devoted friend McKenzie Oneal; 17 grandchildren, eleven Aunts, seven uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
