Mr. Walter J. Reynolds, Sr. age  83 a resident of Prattville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 peacefully at his residence  surrounded by family.  Graveside will be held Saturday, July 6, 2019 with Military Honors at 10am from Locust Bluff United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2110 Alt County Road 21 North Prattville, Alabama with Bishop Johnny L. Davis officiating.

Mr. Walter J. Reynolds was born in Montgomery, AL on June 06, 1936 to the late Bettie Traylor Hall and Emmanuel Reynolds.  Early if his life, he enlisted in the United States Army before Honorably Discharge.  He married Sallie Hardy Baker on October 06, 1999 in Selma, AL.  He was a devoted husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving wife, Sallie Hardy Baker of Selma, AL; son, Walter and Cynthia Reynolds Jr. of Odenton, MD, daughters, Crystal and Reginald Young of Cincinnati, OH and Stephanie Reynolds, Montgomery, AL; step children, Timothy (Brenda) Baker of Fayetteville, GA; Elder Stephanie Craig of Millbrook, AL; grandchildren, Tondamirria J. Smith Reynolds of Birmingham, AL; Amber and Michael Williams of Huntsville, AL; Maysa J.Reynolds of Odenton, MD; Jonathan T. Young of Cincinnati, OH; Steven Reynolds and Kaitlyn Reynolds of Montgomery, AL; Marchina Baker, Shundrea Baker of Millbrook, AL, Romello Jackson, Edward Nettles, Devin Nettles, Laqueendra Jackson, Larmarqueus Phillips, Timeria Baker of Selma, AL; Justin Baker of Georgia, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
