Mrs. Lillie Ruth Harris Williams age 64 a resident of Elmore, Alabama passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at Capitol Hill Health Care Montgomery, Alabama.  Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 2:30pm from Jones Chapel AME Zion Church, 2412 Ingram Road Elmore, Alabama with Rev. Aaron Fields, Jr. Pastor officiating.  Burial to follow at Jones Chapel AME Zion Church Cemetery, Ingram Road Elmore, Alabama.


Mrs. Lillie Harris Williams was born June 21, 1953 to the late Mr. Haggai and Inell Smoke Harris, in Elmore, Alabama. Lillie accepted Christ at an early age at Jones Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church and rededicated her life to Christ before her death.

She departed this life and was reunited with Christ on January 8, 2018, at Capitol Hill Healthcare in Montgomery, Alabama.

She leaves to cherish in her loving  memories: a devoted husband Mr. Sylvester Williams, a loving son Demetri Harris both of Elmore, Alabama; three grandchildren;  DeMetrice Shaunte, DeMya, and Deyana; Two brothers: Mr. Nehemiah Harris of Elmore, AL, Mr. Haggai (Elizabeth) Harris of Snowden, AL; Six sisters: Mrs. Nellie (Gregory) Lane, Clinton MD, Norma (Clarence) Jackson, Prattville, AL, Rev. Linda (Tommy) Rives, Coosada, AL, Sis. Easter P. Harris, Elmore, AL, Minister, Marie Harris, Atlanta, GA, La-Neesha A. Harris, Montgomery, AL; Mrs. Mary  (Charles) Pinkney, Columbus, GA; Stepdaughters: Lytondalon and Cormon  Williams, Karen (Marguita) Arrington, Porscha (Leroy)Williams. Sister-in-laws:Mrs. Lorine W. Savage, Mrs. Patricia W. (Tommy) Brown, Mrs. Marilyn W. Wright, Mrs. Delores W. White, and Cheryl W. (Gregory) Rivers. One brother-in-law, Mr. Joseph G. (Celeste) Williams, Jr.; And, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
