Mr. Jimmy Lee Motley, age 47, a resident of  Berkeley, California formerly of Prattville, Alabama passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at CPMC-Pacific Campus, San Francisco, California.   Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11am from Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 362 Walnut Street Prattville, Alabama with Minister Keith Bates officiating.  Burial to follow at Old Kingston Historical Cemetery, County Road 21 (George Rucker Drive) Prattville, Alabama.

                                                                                                                       OBITUARY

Jimmy Lee Motley was born January 10, 1971 to the James Warren and Peggy Motley.  Jimmy confessed Christ at an early age and joined the New Jericho Missionary Baptist Church.  He is preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Brown, one brother Paul Lewis.  He graduated from Prattville High School in 1991, and later joined the United States Navy.  In his spare time , Jim enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, and had a love for investing in the stock market.

Precious memories of his life will be cherished by his sisters, Patricia Goodson of Prattville, Alabama, Mary Lewis (Patrick Smith ) of Montgomery, Alabama, and Emma (Dellano) McKnight of McDonough, Georgia; one brother Stanley (LaShundra) Lewis of Sacramento, California.

He also leaves memories to a life-time friend, Carmen Farris, Brenda Jackson and Family, all of Prattville, Alabama; Teddy (Helen) Franklin, Victor (Kattie) Paillet, Cynthia Jackson and family, Kimmie Uptom, all of Oakland, Cafornia, along with a host of devoted nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
