Johnnie L. Howard was born to Charlie Howard Sr. and Geraldine Stoudemire Howard on January 31, 1949 in Autaugaville, AL.  He passed away on June 3, 2018 at Prattville Baptist Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his father Charlie Howard. and and his sister Brenda Howard.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Howard, their five children; Johnika Howard, Chera Howard, Preston Hooward, April (Kelsie) Brown, and edra Howard and five grandchildren; Jayla Blue, Keldrion Brown, Amond Brown, Pryson Howard, and Aston Howard.  Mother Geraldine Howard, five sisters; Earlene Howard, Della Howard, Deborah Howard, Bernice Howard all of Autaugaville, AL.  Cynthia Boyd of Jacksonville, NC, five brothes; Charlie Howard, Jr., Rodney (Melanie) Howard, Paul Howard Autaugaville, AL.  Frank Jackie) Howard of Montgomery, AL, and Stephen (Tricia) Howard of Lowndes County and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and a loving congregation that he loved and adored.

Johnnie and Mary were married on August 5, 1972. Johnnie 's favorite card game was pinochle which he played on Friday nights with a couple who later aided him into the truth. Upon seeing his wife happily serve Jehovah for 18 years and wanting to experience her joy, Johnnie decided to study he Bible.  He dedicated  his life to Jeovah God on May 23, 1992 and faithfully and tirelessly until the day of his death.

Johnnie loved his family and it was evident in their love for him.  He also adored his spiritual family, the Prattville Congregation of Jeovah's Witness, and did everything he could to encourage and assists its's members.  He rarely (if ever) said no to anything that was asked of him.  There were many things that Johnnie enjoyed doing, but what brought him the most joy was being a fulltime minister along with his wife Mary for many years.  Together they spent countless hours teaching others what the Bible says about our Creator Jeovah God, His government ruled Christ Jesus, and the Paradise where there will be no more sickness, pain or death.

Dear Mary & Family,
May Jehovah, the God continue to comfort you during these difficult days ahead. Soon, you will be reunited with your beloved Johnnie, who is just sleeping for a little while before he is awakened (John 5:28, 29). We love you and may Jehovah continue to keep you close in his arms.
