Mr. Shannon Broadnax ( Bu Bu ) age 71, a resident of Autaugaville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Jackson Hospital.  Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 1pm from Greater Saint Joseph AME Church, 224 South Pickett Street Autaugaville, Alabama with Rev. Grandville Anderson, Pastor officiating.  Burial to follow at Walter Jones Cemetery, 2314 Pickett Mill Road Autaugaville, Alabama.


God has again sent his angel of death to claim his own.

Mr. Shannon "BuBu" Broadnax departed this life on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at DCI Dialysis in Montgomery, Alabama.

Shannon was born on May 25, 1947 to the late Brooks and Henrietta Broadnax who proceed him in death along with his brother George Howard.  He confessed Christ at an early age and  joined Greater Saint Joseph A.M.E. Church where he remained an active member until his health failed him.  Shannon "BuBu" leaves to cherish, Four children Alfonso (Sabrina) Richards and Anthony (Beverly) Seabon all of Autaugaville, Ala, and Timothy Scott of Prattville, Ala, and Alesia Hall of Detroit, Michigan.  Three step-daughters Brenda Scott, Jenny Scott and Mary Scott all of Prattville, Ala.  Three sisters Velma Broadnax and Lebertha (Arthur) Taylor of Autaugaville, Ala. And Gloria Jean Mitchell of Pittsburg PA.  Two brothers Samuel (Lola) Broadnax of Minnesota MN, and William (Bessie) Broadnax of Chattanooga TN. 13 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  A very special friend Ms. Goins of Autaugaville, Ala.  Shannon  "BuBu" will be missed by many.
