Mr. Tramaine Lavell Smith age 34, a resident of Letohatchee, Alabama passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center East Montgomery, Alabama.  Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11am from Lily Missionary Baptist Church Highway 97 Letohatchee, Alabama with Elder Fletcher Fountain, Pastor and Rev. Otis Smith, Jr., Pastor of Friendship Baptist Church Hayneville, Alabama officiating.  Burial to follow at James Cemetery Highway 97 Hayneville, Alabama.

Tramaine Lavell Smith was born on June 2, 1984 to the late Rachel Smith of Letohatchee, AL.  He departed this life on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at the young age of 34.

Tramaine attended Pintlala Elementary School and Montgomery County High School.  He furthered his education at Trenholm State Technical College where he received an associates Degree in 2005.  An employee at Hanon Systems Alabama Corp, he will be missed as a production assembler because he was truly a friend to many.

Growing under the prayers of his mother, Tramaine joined Lily Missionary Baptist Church where he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Anyone that knew Tramaine can't think of him without smiling or laughing.  Not only was he a kind and gentle soul, he was simply funny.  On the day of his passing, he started his day by saying, "All i need is 1 hour.  A 1 hour comedy special.....!"

Tramaine loved his family.  The trio was always Rachel, Meki and Maine.  He would give his last to ensure they were taken care of.  That big heart of his had so much love that it couldn't be contained and you would often find him doing for others, with no complaints.  He treasured his niece and nephew and ran a strong competition for the best uncle in the world! Tramaine will always be remembered for his joy, sense of humor, kind heart, and die hard love for the Auburn Tigers.

Tramaine was preceded in death by his mother, Rachel Smith, grandmother, Annie Ree Smith, and grandfather, C'Otis Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved sister, Tomeki (Norris) Davis, Dacula, GA; treasured niece and nephew, Lauren Davis and Norris Davis lll, both of Dacula, GA; three aunts, Judy Smith, Lillie Colvin, both of Montgomery, AL and Shirley Ealy, Letohatchee, AL;  five uncles, Robert Smith, Freddie Smith, both of Montgomery, AL; Henry (Diane) Smith, Prattville, AL, Clarence Bruce, Otis (Delois) Smith, Jr., both of Letohatchee, AL; many loving and devoted cousins, including two who were as close as brothers, Billy D. Ealy, Letohatchee, AL and Larry "Demond" McQueen, Montgomery, AL, a dedicated best friend, Nick Harris (Montgomery, AL), close friend, Princeton Flowers, a special loved one Dorothy "Chase" Smart, and a host of other faithful friends and co-workers.

May the true God watch over your family during this extremely difficult time. May you find comfort from the Bible's promise of a resurrection for the dead found at John 5:28, 29 and Acts 24:15. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Words can't express the pain I felt when I heard the news nor how I feel deep within. My life won't be the same without Chise for he was my mentor when going through troublesome times. Each message I sent to him or whether it was a call, he would respond no matter if it was out of his sleep, at work, or just in chill mode!! My heart hurts more than anything for I have not just lost a brother but a TRUE BEST FRIEND!! He always told me to stay strong and keep my head up and I'm trying but it hurts too bad!! Rest well Tramaine til we meet again!! XOXO
