                                                                                                              Obituary

On February 11, 2019, the sweet spirit of Travis DraMayne Gardner went to join the Saviour in that home not built with hands, but whose maker and builder is God.

Travis DraMayne Gardner was the son of the late Archie Lee Gardner, Jr. and Gloria Jean Motley Gardner.  He was born July 2, 1984 and received his education in the public school system of Autauga County in Prattville, Alabama.  He was awarded a scholarship to play in the band at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa where he furthered his education.  Travis accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized by the late Rev. Roosevelt Brown at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.

Travis was a strong and faithful worker.  Although he worked other jobs, he spent 12 years at Prattville Health & Rehab before starting a new job at Kinedyne in Prattville.  He believed in hard work and was devoted to spending time at the gym and with family and friends.  He enjoyed people and never met a stranger.  He was meek and humble and loved to smile.  Travis was truly one of God's finest.

Travis was preceded in death by his father, Archie Lee Gardner, Jr.  He leaves to cherish his memories; a devoted mother, Gloria Jean Gardner; two siblings, Beverly (Pierre) Long, and Darrick (Lisa) Gardner; four nieces, Deidre Gardner, Eboni Gardner, Diamond Long; two nephews, DJay Gardner, LaDarrion Gardner;  one great niece, Kayla Gardner; a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.

To the Family, so sorry for your loss. Hope you will be comforted in knowing that Travis has the prospect of being resurrected, healthy (in the flesh), to Paradise Earth just as Jehovah God has promised. In fact , the vast majority will enjoy everlasting life right here on earth as God had intended from the beginning. God's Kingdom will do this under the rule of Jesus Christ. My condolences to the family of Mr. Gardner. The lost of a loved one is very painful but you can be confident in knowing one day we will no longer have to suffer and lose people we love. Jehovah God promises this at Revelation 21:4. May you find comfort in this scripture during this difficult time.
