To the Family & Friends of Alvin Smith:

“If a man die, shall he live again?” asked the man Job long ago.(Job 14:14,15)  Perhaps you, too, have wondered about this. How would you feel if you knew that a reunion with your loved ones was possible right here on earth under the best of conditions?

Well, the Bible makes the promise: “Your dead ones will live. . . . They will rise up.” And the Bible also says: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.”—Isaiah 26:19; Psalm 37:29.

Dear Family, I send you my heartfelt condolence on the loss of your dear family member. May John 5:28,29 truly strengthen you to reflect on God’s promises to bring back to life your dear loved one to a beautified earth where she can be reunited with her family, and never have to get sick and die, ever again. (Psalm 37:11,29; Isaiah 33:24)

My condolences to the family of Mr. Smith. The pain of losing a loved one is something that Jehovah God understands. He is promised us that one day “death will be no more” at Revelation 21:3,4. May you find comfort in this.
