Sister Annie Clara "Made" Gardner was born May 11, 1928 to the late Johnny and Mary Lucas. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined First Missionary Baptist Church, Prattville, Alabama where she served faithfully until God dispatched his angels to bring her home.
Annie Clara was married to the late Willie Lee Gardner and to this union five children were born. Annie Clara was employed at Gurney's industries for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father , her husband, four sisters, and five brothers. She was also preceded in death by her great-granddaughter Shaquina "Lulu" Gardner.
Sheer leaves to cherish her memories her children: Willie Mae Williams, Johnny (Sandra) Gardner, Dorothy Dejarnette, Mamie Gardner, and Juanita (Alexander) Miller; two sisters-in-law; Della Lee Johnson and Thelma Lucas; six grandchildren: Pamela (Lorenzo Jackson) Pickett, Demico (Anton) Teharte, Teron Coleman, Courtney Gardner, Jivorsky Thomas, and Deidra DeJarnette; nine great-grandchildren: Karisa (Jarvis) Nixon, Quindaris Boyd, Martavious Gardner, Treviyon Coleman, Jayden Broadnax, Grabreyelle Coleman, Karsyn Thomas, Zoey Gardner, and Tristan Grant; ; three great-great-grandchildren: A'mya Gardner, Braylen Gardner, and Elijah Gardner; a host of nieces, nephews, and children she raised.
