Miss Annie Mae Howard affectionately known as Mama Roxie was born on September 9, I960 to the late Ellis and Gussie Mae Howard.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her paternal grandparents, Margaret Johnson, Shield Taylor, Pream Dower and Richard Dower; her brother, Tommy Lee Howard; her aunt, Katie Mae Palmer; two uncles, Willie Seabon and Percy Taylor.
Annie attended Autaugaville High School. She was a graduating member of the class of I980. Annie had a caring heart and loved taking care of people. She was once a Certified Nursing Assistant at the old Prattville Nursing Home.
She leaves to cherish her memories a dear friend, Edward Lewis Green of Autaugaville AL; a daughter, Amanda Howard and a son, Travis Howard, both of Autaugaville, Al; seven grandchildren, Alexionna Howard, Kenderrius Golson, Kendaja Golson, A'zhir Howard, Taliyah Howard, Makiah Burns, and Makasiah Burns, all of Autaugaville, Al; one great-grandson, Karson Harville of Autaugaville, AL; four sisters, Willie Mae Brown of Autaugaville, AL, Dorothy (Timothy) Patterson of Autaugaville, AL, Bessie Howard of Cincinnati, OH, Carrie Johnson, Wooster, OH; two brothers, Luther (Trishana) Howard of Autaugaville, AL and Ellis (Mary) Howard of Cincinnati OH; three aunts, Marie (Arthur) Willis of Autaugaville, AL, Barbara Hunter of Prattville, AL and Leola (Clayton) Gardner of Prattville, AL; two uncles, Mose (Dora) Johnson of Montgomery, AL, Freddie Johnson (Sandra) of Cincinnati, OH; a very close friend, Anniebell Whitfield of Prattville, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
