Arthur James Reed

Arthur James Reed , Jr. was born on October 13, 1958 to Cleo Wilson and the late Arthur J. Reed, Sr. in Montgomery, AL.

He confessed Christ at an early age and was educated in the Montgomery County School system.

He was a very caring husband, very devoted father, and loving son, brother, cousin and friend to all whom he came in contact with throughout life's journey.

Pop as he was called by many met and married the love of his life, La'Kevia Stoudemire, and to that union 2 daughters were born.

God dispatched an angel and summoned his child to come home on June 29, 2020 and will greeted at the heavenly gates by his loving father and sister, Patrick Wilson.

His memories will forever be cherished by his wife of 17 years, La'Kevia Stoudemire-Reed, Montgomery, AL; Two sons, DJ Jones and Zanyaiver Reed McCree; Three caring daughters, La'Kerria Stoudemire, A'Kirria and Ar'Kevia Reed, all of Montgomery, AL; one grandson, Zachery McCree, Montgomery, AL; A loving mother, Cleo Wilson, Montgomery, AL; six sisters, Willie Mae (Robert) Edwards, Gloria (Marvin) German, Shirley Porterfield, Evenlyn (Willie) Feagin, Pamela Wilson and Teresa Reed, all of Montgomery, AL; Three uncles, Joseph, Jack (Billie), and Fred (Mildred) Rainge, all of Montgomery, AL; six aunts, Estelle Brooks, Elizabeth Washington, Bessie (John) Rainge, Ruby Nell (James) Dill, Lillian Williams, and Lula Mallard, all of Montgomery, AL A mother-in-law, Patricia (Jeremiah) Stoudemire-Ford and a father-in-law, Talkazahy Muhammad, both of Montgomery, AL; Three sisters-in-law, La'Keshia (Alvin) Maddox, Sherika (Prince) Gordon, and Jasmine Smith, all of Montgomery, AL; A special cousin, Frank Rainge, Jr., Montgomery, AL; A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
