Mrs. Beatrice M. Jackson was born July 5, 1947 to the late Mrs. Mary McLemore and the late Mr. Major McLemore. She departed this life on July 18, 2024 at Prattville Baptist Medical Center.
She accepted Christ at an early age and joined New Jericho Baptist Church. She served as a member of the Senior Choir for many years and as a member of the Deaconess Ministry. She was joined in holy matrimony to Johnnie Lee Jackson. To this union, three children were born,
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Major and Mary McLemore; step-father, Mr. Jim Henry Dejournette; sisters, Lila Mae Cain, Bernice Deramus, Mary James and Minnie Pearl Jones; brothers, Henry Cain, Alford Cain, Major McLemore and Herman Lee McLemore.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: a devoted husband, Johnnie Lee Jackson; two daughters, Jacqueline (John) Robinson and Carolyn (Frank) Singleton; one son, Johnnie Lee Jackson Jr.; one sister-in-law, Minnie McLemore, Chicago, IL; one brother-in- law, Leonard James; one aunt, Eloise (Willie) Turner, Midway, AL; one uncle, Abraham (Geneva) Bozeman; three grandchildren, Christopher M, Jackson, Jonathan M. Jackson and Johnn Ellis Jackson; eight great-grandchildren, Jaylen, Sydni, Talia, Zion, Jonathan Jr., Julia, Hope and Grace; one sister, Lillie McLemore; one brother, John Henry McLemore and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
