Our dear mother Beatrice Jemison White was born in Autauga County to Lun and Fannie L. Jemison, January 18, 1947. She was the eighth child of fifteen children. She was educated in the Autauga County School System.
Beatrice passed away on July 4, 2024 after a very sudden decline in her health. Beatrice was only 77 years of age. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. A friend to many, she was a cherished member of the community in Prattville, Al, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength.
She proceeded in death by her beloved son James White; parents Fannie L. "Doll Baby" Jemison, Lun Jemison Sr; siblings Willie Gipson, Freddie (Gladys) Gipson, Lun Jemison Jr., Sam Jemison, Walter (Annie Mae) Jemison, Barbara Wesson, and Katie Washington.
Beatrice leaves to cherish her memories two daughters Jacqueline (Oliver) Moten, Christina Lowe; three grandchildren Brittany White, Alyvia White, Koby Williams; one daughter in law LaDonna White Heard; seven siblings and their respected spouses Alfonza (Beulah) Jemison, Anthony (Pauline) Jemison, Jack (Kathy) Jemison, Jeffrey Jemison, Gussie (Johnny) Johnson, Dorothy Brockington, Fannie "Peaches" Jemison; three sister in law Annie Jemison, Polly Gipson, Camellia Jemison along with countless nieces, nephews, friends, Merry Wood Lodge family, and Gentiva Hospice who felt her warmth and generosity.
