Berry H. Livingston, Jr. was born September 3, 1940, in Autauga County, Alabama. He was the fourth child born to the union of Berry H. Livingston, Sr., and Frances Ella Smith Livingston.
Berry became a member of Locust Bluff United Methodist Church during his childhood and renewed his active membership in the church after years of living, working, and raising a family in Detroit, Michigan. He sang with the Male Chorus, chaired the Administrative Board, Church Treasurer and was active in other church duties.
He received his formal education in the public schools of Autauga County Graduating from Autauga County Training School. He moved to Deroit, Michigan and worked for the Detroit City Maintenance Division. He retired in 2000 after 33 plus years of diligent and dedicated service and moved back to Alabama.
Berry was preceded in death by his loving parents, and older brother, Nathaniel Livingston. After retiring and moving back Alabama, his brother and he shard many hours talking, laughing, singing, and watching television (especially sport).
His memories are embedded in the hearts of his family.
Cherishing these memories are his Six Sons: Michael, Henry, Leonard Livingston, Tony Smiles (Detroit, Michigan), Franco and Christopher Livingston (Springfield, Ohio); Four Daughters: Cynthia and Brenda Livingston, Deauntay Bates (Detroit, Michigan), Marquita (Dwayne) Love of Prattville, AL; 23 grand and great grandchildren; Four Sisters: Hattie L. Willis, Georgia D.L. Houser both of Prattville, AL; Mattie L. (John L. ) Baker (Montgomery, AL) and W. Frances (Jesse) Parker (Billingsley, AL); God Daughter: Rev. Luretta L. Washington of Prattville, AL and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
