Bessie Mae (Wright) Goodson

Mrs. Bessie Mae Wright Goodson, daughter of the late Charlie N. and Ethel Wright, was born November 2, 1928.

She confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church Prattville, AL, where she was a faithful member.

She was was a member of the senior choir, the Missionary Society, and president of the Senior Usher Board.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lincoln Goodson Sr., daughter Vonzetta Gipson, sister Eula Bell wright and Birdie Tobin, and brothers Charlie Wright and Roosevelt Wright.

She leaves to cherish her memories nine children.  Four sons, Lincoln Goodson Jr., Chattanooga, TN; Isaiah (Eliabeth) Goodson, Lincoln, CA; Leroy (Elizabeth) Goodson, Prattville, AL; Christopher (Aretha) Goodson, Newport News, VA. 

Five daughters Luzella (Robert) Reed, Chattanooga, TN; Ethel Ashley; Elanda (Larry) Jackson, Armintha K. Hall all of Prattville, AL; and Cresheva (Strafford) singleton, Montgomery, AL.

 A loving and devoted granddaughter, whom she raised as her own, Angela (Tracey) Milliner Killeen, TX; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.

Three sisters  Willie Willie Pearl DeRamus, Leslie Bradley, Rosetta Bennett and one brother  Jimmie L. wright, all of Chattanooga, TN; a loving and devoted son-in-law Anthony Charles Gipson, Prattville, AL.

 God daughters Connie Hamilton, Linda Duncan, Priscilla Collins; Loving caretakers  Edna Milliner, Marie Roseman and Barbara Corbin. 

A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
