Brian Demond Jackson was born on February 5, 1974 to Bennie Lee Jackson Jr and Gaynelle Jackson in Tuskegee, AL. He was preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents maternal grandfather, and godmothers.
Brian gained his early education in the Montgomery County School system. After graduating from Lee High School in 1992, he went on to study Accounting at THE one and only University of Alabama (ROLL TIDE). During his time at UA, he was an active member of the Afro American Gospel choir where he served as lead singer and choir president. Brian received several honors, awards, and scholarships as he earned his degree in 1996.
After graduating, Brian kickstarted a 25 year career in Cost Accounting at Miltope Corporation in Montgomery, AL. This career afforded him the opportunity to work with multimillion dollar accounts and reside in 5 cities to include: Mobile, AL; Brunswick, GA; Jacksonville, FL; Harrisonburg, VA; and Lake City, FL. Brian was currently employed at First Federal Bank.
Brian confessed Christ and received the Holy Ghost at the age of 5for real at The House of God in Montgomery, AL. later, he served at Bethel Full Gospel Pathway Church as Children’s Church teacher and on the Government& Social Services Committee. His travels allowed him to be a part of some amazing ministries to include: Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, Mobile, AL; Greater Works Than These Ministries, Brunswick, GA; Divine Unity Community Church, Harrisonburg,VA; The Potter’s House International Ministries, Jacksonville, FL. Additionally,, Brian faithfully served as a member of and regular contributor of the SonRise Prayer Ministries prayer team, a group from several segments of our country who are committed to heeding the Lord’s command for His people to always pray and not faint and pray for the body of Christ, our world, nation, communities, and families.
Brian loved God, his family, his friends, and the ministries he served. He was a family man, a great friend, supporter, and confidant. He made sure everyone he knew that was graduating, getting married, or reaching a milestone in life would get a card. If “keep in touch” was a person, It would be Brian Jackson. He was committed and served with a spirit of excellence both in business and in ministry.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving mother, Elder Gaynelle Jackson-Harris, of Montgomery AL. Grandmothers: Pastor Ellen P. Featherstone and Ruby Williams of Montgomery, AL. Three sisters: LaTresa (Fitzgerald) Jackson-Glasper of Montgomery, AL, LaTarsha (Roderick) Shine of Pike Road, AL; and LaTira (Sekevious) Edwards of Norfolk, VA, One brother: Robert Haynes of Montgomery, AL, Five nephews: De'Nico, Jalen, De'Rico, Tylon, Devin. Two nieces: Kaitlyn and Destinee.
