Callie Mae Jones was born in Elmore, AL on June 25, 1934 to the late George Cotton, Sr. and Hester Laure Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers; Johnny Lee James, Thomas Cotton, and George Cotton, Jr. and one sister Georgia C. McKeithen;Uncles: Freddie Taylor, Richard Taylor; Aunts: Mable Taylor, Tommy Jane Taylor and Florence Davis , and great granddaughter Alexandria Motley.

She leaves to cherish her memory One Aunt: Kate Timmons, Three children; Willie (Lila) Lawrence of Millbrook, AL; Mary (George) Motley of Autaugaville, AL; and Donna (James) Watson of Coosada, AL; Eleven Grandchildren; Alvin (Shaneka) Motley, Elaine Motley, Patina Motley, David Lawrence, Cara Foster, Willie Lawrence, Tonya Lawrence, Jasmine Lawrence, Lashauda (Karl) Gadie, Micheal (Brittany) Moore, Shaquyllia Jemison; Devoted nieces; Alice and Shanika Cotton, 24 Great Grandhildren, 12 Great-Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
