Carolyn J. Gorman was born May 11, 1956 to the late Felton S.L. Lamar and LeeAnn Hall. She departed this life on January 13, 2021. She confessed Christ an early age and joined Father, Son and Holy Ghost Church.
She was united in holy matrimony to Earnest D. Gorman on November 23, 1976.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Earnestine J. Gorman, great granddaughter, Shayna McNeal, her father, Frank Hall, Jr., brothers, Leroy Lamar and Felton Lamar, Jr.
She was affectionately known as (Kale Jean). She was fun, loving, kind and compassionate, always giving from the heart. Her faith in God remained amazingly strong and unwavering.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving husband, Earnest D. Gorman, two loving and devoted daughters, Angela Johnson, and Cassandra Gorman, special friend Marcus Jackson, eight grandchildren, Christopher Davis, Brianna Davis, ADasia Davis, Keyonte Sutton, Porsha Gorman, Philtoria Sutton, Se'Quan Gorman, Khamaury Gorman and six great-grand children, two sisters, Juanita (Joseph) Barganier, Patricia (Leonard) Cobb, one sister-in-law, Linda Lamar, all of Montgomery, AL, two brothers, James E. Lamar, and Billy W. Hall, both of Montgomery, AL, three brothers-in-law, Tommy (Carol) Gorman, San Diego, CA, Jeff (Julia) Ruffin and Anderson (Carol) Ruffin, both of Shreveport, LA. and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and a devoted friend Bernice Rhodes.
