Catherine Summerlin  (cat tail) was born in Robinson Springs, Alabama on July 28, 1963.

She began her journey with Jesus at an early age being baptized at East Chapel AME Zion Church.

After fellowshipping with many houses of worship, she completed her journey at Grace Community Church.

she was preceded in death by her parents James and Lizzie Reeves; two brothers: James and Johnny Reeves.

Cherishing her life is her loving husband of 40 years this February 2021, Leroy Summerlin Jr.  Two sons: Leroy (Meisha) Summerlin III and Ikevious Summerlin.

Three grandchildren: Madison N and Ethan A. Summerlin and Heaven N. U. Summerlin.

Four sisters: Patricia (Jerry) Washington, Wincie (Bishop Raymond) Thomas, Mary J. Parker and Christine (Eugene) Jackson Sr.

Three brothers: Henry (Sandra) Reeves, Robert F. Reeves and Pastor Jamie (Debra) Reeves.

Several Sisters and brothers-in-law and special friend who with love and the blood of Jesus Christ have become wonderful biological siblings.

9 Aunts, 2 Uncles.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will truly miss her.

Catherine graduated Stanhope Elmore High School in 1981 and had a notorious career at Tru-Turn Industries, Wetumka, AL.

Her gifts and advice led to its prosperity.  She shared beneficial information to colleagues, associates, strangers, family and friends.  She never wanted anyone to miss out on God's benefits or God's blessings.

Cathy most cherished accomplishment is that she was a devoted wife and mother.  She always focus on The Lord and family.  Friends simply became our extended family.  Loved ones from Everlasting to Everlasting.
