Cora Ella Jones-Mosley was born November 02,1964 to the late Samuel Jones Sr. and Ophelia Brown-Jones in Prattville, Alabama.
She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Nazereth Baptist Church; later joined New Lily Green Baptist Church in Deatsville, Alabama; She united with Rhema Word Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Terrence Burke, Sr.
Cora was educated in the Prattville Public School System and was a 1983 graduate of Prattville High School. She was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was known to always have a smile on her face and had a very giving heart.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, one sister, Hattie Pernell; two nephews, Sgt. Carlos E. Pernell and Eugene Pernell, Jr.
Cora leaves to cherish his memories: a caring husband, Curtis Mosley, of Prattville, AL; three devoted children, Martisha L. Jones and Demarcus L. Jones, both of Prattville, AL, and Lance Corporal Jerry L. Foster, of 29 Palms, CA; one sister, Lillie Brown, of
Montgomery, AL; two brothers, Thomas Brown and Samuel Jones Jr., both of Prattville, AL; one special grandson, Isaiah T. Jones, of Prattville, AL; one uncle, Zeke Brown Sr., of Montgomery, AL; one aunt, Madean Brown, of Montgomery AL; two devoted nieces, Leatricia D. Motley and Skitorria A. Pernell, both of Prattville, AL; special friends, Pamela Tagger, of Prattville, AL; and Latasha Mack, of Montgomery, AL; a very special pet, Laylay; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
