Daleisha Stroud Obituary

Daleisha Lyndell Stroud was born on March 4th,1980 to the late Dale Stroud and Sandra Thomas in Syracuse, New York.  As an infant she relocated to Montgomery, AL.  She confessed Christ at an early age and joined All Nations Church of God where she sang in the choir.  She later joined New Vision Worship Center under the leadership of Bishop Raymond Thomas, where she was a faithful member.  One of the special memories that she would love for her family to tell would be when she stood in church and boldly proclaimed: "They call me baldy Jack" ! My mother cut all of my hair off and it will not grow back. " Baldy" !

Daleisha was always a sweet and gentle person that never met a stranger.  Her spirit would draw people to her, but she never wanted to be the center of attention.  One of her greatest accomplishments was being a mother to Woo and Toine.  Daleisha was preceded in death by her parents, Dale Stroud and Sandra Thomas; grandparents Dorothy Richardson and Leslie Trammer, Sr; brother: Quandale Thomas; great-grandparents Ada Mae Thomas and Anderson Thomas, Sr; aunts Angela Trammer and Ida Washigton; cousins Tavaris Trammer and Benita Lowery.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Kamari and Antoine McDaniel; Goddaughter: Chasity Floyd; three sisters: Laquisha Thomas, Tanisha Thomas, and Vontella Stroud; one brother: Dale Stroud Jr. : two nieces: Malaka Thomas and Faith Cooper; three nephews Victor Davis, Jr., Quondarrius Hill, and Taeshaun Robinson; grandfather Johnnie Richardson; three aunts: Fannie Trammer, Brenda Trammer, and Reba Trammer (Montgomery, AL); one uncle: Leslie Trammer, Jr. (Montgomery, AL); three aunts and four uncles from New York; cousins: Shree, LaTora, Lakita, Quatica, MyInka, Jeremiah, Brittney, Marquiese, Demontrez, and Marquell; an amazing extended family Joyce, Tankiya, Nikki; and a host of cousins and friends.
