Damonica Wright Obituary

My name is Damonica Danielle Webster-Wright.  I was  born to Jo Ann Webster-King and Reverend Donnell McGuire,  My journey began on July 23, 1976 in Birmingham, Alabama.

I was educated in Birmingham City Schools from Kindergarten through twelfth grade.  I graduated from Ensley Magnet High School in May of 1995.  While in high school, I was a member of the marching band, Future Business Leaders of America, Young Mother's Program, and gave birth to my beautiful, talented daughter, Kilah Trinese Webster.

My love for mathematics afford me the opportunity to attend Lawson State Community College (AS, 2002), Athens State University (BS, 2011), and Kaplan University (MBA 2013, 2016).  With the favor of God on my life, I became employed by the State of Alabama as an Accountant.

On October 14, 2014 I married the love of my life, Floyd Wright, Added to this union is my sweet baby, Jaleah Renaye Long.  Floyd and I enjoyed ministering to God's people, and spending time with family.  Cooking and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers are my favorite hobbies. 

I was a faithful and proud member of United Christian Church in Prattville, Alabama under the leadership of Pastor Thaylee Dickerson.  I was an intercessor, Sunday School teacher, entrepreneur, and author.  I have written two books.  "Help, I'm Breach".  and "Faith Produces Healing."  Lastly, I am the founder of Destiny Warrior, LLC. 

I am survived by my husband, Floyd Wright; daughters, Kilah Webster and Jaleah Long; Parents, Deacon and Mrs. Clarence King, Jr.; Father, Reverend Donnell McGuire (Eunice), God-father, Jim Hollins, Jr., Sisters, Terria Wright, Erika Cheatham (Jerome), Phylistine Spencer (Marlon), Denita Webster, Tenisha Long, Keshia Murray, Tracy White (Benji), Jaquana (Clayton) McQuire; Brother, Clarence King, III (Jamie); God-sister, Megan Smith; God-brother, Jim Hollins, III, Aunts, Carrie Summerville, Linda Pope, Betty Ellison, Wanda Hamilton, Vicki Hamilton, Elissia Gilmore (Clarence), Etonya Hood (Leon), La Vanda Hood, Carrie, and JoAnn, Uncles, Pastor Glenn Hood, Harvey Hamilton (Adrian), and Bobby Hamilton (Rosie); Special Cousins, Johnitra Hamilton, Makesha  Rencher (Harold),Tammy Ellison; Special Friends, Elida Sanders, Elizabeth James, and Gwenette Green; God Children, Ocean Griffin, Tanac Reed

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and all those whom i loved dearly.  I was preceded in death by my cousin, DeMarcus Hood, my God-mother, Shirley Hollins and Aunts, Edna Hood and Martha Hamilton.
