On Wednesday November 17, 2021, the Lord extended His loving arms and welcomed Delores Pickett Durden into her eternal rest. She departed this life at Capitol Hill Healthcare Facility in Montgomery, AL.
Delores Pickett Durden was born January 19, 1945 to the late Ezetta Motley Davis and Louis Davis, Sr.
She was the fourth child of eight children. She was preceded in death by husband: Samuel Durden; Grandson: Larry Wells; 4 sisyers, 2 brothers, 2 stepdaughters and a stepson.
Delores was united in marriage to the late Samuel Durden with whom they had a blended family of 10 children together. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church and later became a member of United Christian Church.
Delores leaves to cherish her memories: Three Sons: Lorenzo, Willie and Kerry (Sarah) Pickett all of Prattville, AL; Three Daughters: Mary Pickett, Cheryl (Willie) Lamar and Laura (Ameer) Craion all of Prattville, AL; Stepson: Edgar (Dorothy) Durden, Prattville, AL; Sister: Betty Pickett of Prattville, AL; Two loving and devoted nieces: Luvencia Steele and Mary Howard both of Prattville, AL; Grandchildren: Willie, Latonya Pickett, Alicia Pickett, Jasper Wells, QuanJulius and Willie (Aaliyah) Lamar, Keshun Pickett , Shirecka Pickett, Princess Craion, Yolanda Durden, Sashia (Arthur) Motley, Andre Durden, Pamela Durden and Edgar Davis and Gary (Tiffany) Davis: 28 great grand children and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
