Erick Conrad CroSkey Sr. was born October 10, 1955 to the late Melvin & Millie Croskey in Montgomery, Alabama.
He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Abraham Vineyard Church of Christ; He was educated in Montgomery Public School System and was a 1974 graduate of Sidney Lanier High School; He obtained an Associate Degree, in Business Administration from Trenholm Technical College and studied Business at Troy University in Montgomery; At the young age 20 he enlisted into the United States Airforce and served his country wholeheartedly.
Erick was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many that he came into contact with within life. He was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. He had a great love and played basketball from junior high through high school. He loved traveling, listening to blues, spending time watching Alabama football games with family and friends.
He met and later married the love of his life the former, Autherine Thomas, on August 11, 1973 and to their union four/ children were born.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, one. son, Caesar Croskey; two sisters, Rosemary (Willie “Bo”) Fannin and Edna (Luverne) Gilbert; one brother, Melvin Croskey, Jr.; mother and father- in -law, Lula and Earnest Thomas.
His legacy will forever be cherished by: a very devoted and loving wife of 49 years, Autherine Croskey, three caring children Erick Croskey, Jr., Lumisha (Anthony)Toney and Darius (Courtney) Croskey, all of Montgomery, AL; five grandchildren, Caesar Orum, Kierra Frazier, Erika Shackelford; Anthony Toney, Jr. and Antanaisha Toney, all of Montgomery, AL; six great grandchildren: Ar'Moni C. Rhyson, Emily Reign, Armoni G., Chloe and Korbyn, all of Montgomery, AL; three sisters, Eunice Croskey, Wynona Croskey and Letitia Croskey, all of Montgomery, AL; two sisters-in-law; Peggy Miller and Lori Moneyham both of Montgomery, AL; one brother-in-law: Donald Lee Thomas, of Montgomery, AL', a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
