Mrs. Freddie Wallace Myers was born on October 5, 1953, to the late Mr. JB Wallace Sr. and Mrs. Idell Henderson Wallace in Autauga County. She departed this life with her husband, children, and grandchildren by her side in Prattville, AL on Monday, May 27. 2024.
She confessed Christ at an early age and joined the New Jericho Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her death. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Walter Lee Myers, SR on March 16, 1975. To this union, five kids were born.
Mrs. Freddie Wallace Myers graduated from Autauga County High School in1973. She then went on to work for Gurney Industries right after graduating high school. Soon after, she decided to stay home and raise her children before she went back and started working for the Autauga County Board of Education where she retired in October 2018.
She devoted her time to singing in the church choir, cooking for her family and church friends, listening to various gospel groups, and spending time with all her grandchildren.
Mrs. Freddie Wallace Myers is preceded in death by one brother, one sister; and one daughter, Stephanie.
She leaves many loved ones to celebrate her memories; a devoted husband, Walter Lee Myers, SR; three daughters: Monica T. Myers-Fleeton (Bruce), Andrea Myers (Billy), and TyShonda Myers; One son, Walter Lee Myers, JR (Elisha); one brother JD Wallace JR (Shirley) and one sister Georgia Mae Wallace all of Prattville, AL Nine grandchildren: Melanie B. Myers, Kamran J. DeRamus, Kiera J. Fleeton, Kayden C. Fleeton, Korbin J. Myers, Nahlij L. Thomas, Kennedy M. Myers, Wysdom J. Thomas, and Walter L Myers Ill; two step-grandchildren. She leaves behind some precious friends, Ada Stoudemire, Corrine Smith and so many more that valued her friendship.
