Mrs. Georgia Mae Alexander Lewis was born on December 23, 1926, to the late Mattie Alexander and Charlie Alexander in Autauga County, Alabama.
Georgia Mae accepted Christ at an early age and was a devoted member at New Jericho Baptist Church in Prattville, Alabama.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Mattie and Charlie Alexander; son: Robert Alexander; two daughters: Laura Pearl Johnson and Teleatha Howard; four sisters: Elizabeth, Virginia Brown Starks, Annie Pearl Nelson, and Eliza Peagler; four brothers: Charles Alexander Sr., Robert Alexander, John Alexander, and Jeff Alexander.
She leaves her memories to forever be cherish by her six loving and devoted children: Deloise (Teddy) Reese, Jimmy (Cynthia) Lewis, Vera Lewis, Viola Lewis, Eddie (Linda) Lewis Sr. all of Prattville, AL, Larry (Betty) Lewis of Deatsville, AL: one sister: Lucille Wyatt; fifteen grandchildren: Kenneth (Karen) Slayton of California, Sonja Faye Alexander of Montgomery, AL, Thomas Cutler, Edwin Cutler, Lakecha Lewis, Maurice Mims, Cyntcristia Tucker, Tabious Lewis, Eddie Lewis Jr., Shanita Lewis, Brandon Brinson, Shaquana Lewis, O'Mahrion Lewis, Kendra Reese and Chintira Reese. A host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, & other relatives.
