Mr. Gregory Patrick Averhart was born May 5, 1968, to the late Morris Thomas, and Alma Averhart Gadsden. He went home to be with the Lord on May 7, 2024.
He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Bethlehem CME Church, Prattville, Alabama.
He was educated in the Autauga County school system. At the time of his death, he was employed by Alaga Syrup company.
He was soft-spoken person with a heart of gold and was loved by all his family and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his father, grandmothers; Fannie Bell Averhart, and Janie Thomas, grandfathers; Robert Averhart and Charles Wesley Thomas, aunts; Velma Daniels, Ann Averhart, Barbra Howard, and Edith Harris, uncles; Billy Averhart, Joe Lewis Averhart, Alandious Averhart, Robert Averhart, Jr., Floyd Averhart, Charles Thomas, and Paul Thomas.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving family, mother; Alma Gadsden, stepfather; Walter Gadsden, sister; Rita Harrison, brothers; Anthony (Armarsha) Averhart, and Sidney Averhart, uncles; Ronald Averhart, Madison Averhart, Alonzo (Sharon) Thomas, Kevin (Anita) Thomas and Jerry Daniels, aunts; Fannette McNeil, Mary Deramus, Annie Wiley and Betty (Albert) Stevenson; nieces and nephews; Cortez Moncrief, Deadrick Thomas, Martrista Jones, Keyona Averhart, DJ Harrison, Sidneisha Thomas, and Joshua Thomas, special friend; Tiki Daniels, two stepchildren; Brittney Daniels, and Nicholus Daniels, devoted friends; David Marshall and Yolanda Roberts and a host of special cousins, and special friends.
