Mr. Henry Guice, Sr., a resident of Prattville, died at the age of70 on February 17, 2022.
Mr. Henry Cuice was born to Mrs. Alice Bell Cox Cuice and Mr. Grandville Phillip on December 19, 1951 in Montgomery, Alabama. Henry gave his life to Christ at the age of 5 by joining Cathmagby Missionary Baptist Church. As a student at Booker T. Washington High School he attended Industrial Training courses to become a Master Electrician. Although he loved building and racing muscle cars and his new career as an electrician, it was in 1972 where he would meet the love of his life. On January 19, 1974, he would wed Mrs. Mildred Stoudemire. They settled in the
Redland community of Wetumpka, Alabama to start their lives together. In this union, they would raise two beautiful children. This is a union that continued until his passing.
After working for Alabama Power for many years, Henry decided to become an entrepreneur and establish his own business as an electrician. Henry was affectionally known in the Redland community as a 'jack of all trades." He had the unique ability to assist in many situations where his expertise was needed. He was known for always being there for people when needed. He will be missed by the many people he touched over the years.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Alice Bell Cox Guice, father, Grandville Phillip, two brothers: Mr. Esther Cuyce and Mr. Charles Guyce, one sister: Mrs. Lula Mae Griggs, and one granddaughter, Miss Gabrielle Elizabeth Tuck. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of48 years, Mrs. Mildred Cuice, two children: Mr. Henry Cuice, Jr (Mrs. Kristy Jolly Cuice) and Mrs. Mashaunda Guice Tuck (Mr. Michael Tuck), two grandsons: Mr. Ahmoz Zuni Guice and Mr. Sebastian Alexander Tuck, two loving sisters: Mrs. Dorothy Jean Washington (Mr. Tommie Washington) and Mrs. Lovie Reese (Rome), along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loved ones.
