Obituary

Mr. Henry L. Robinson was born on May 18, 1951, in Autauga County. He was the first son of the late Robert Lee and Mary Alice Pugh Robinson. He became a member of the Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.

He received his early education at Mount Sinai Elementary School and graduated from

North Highland High School, class of 1969, which was the last graduating class from North Highland. He continued his education at John Patterson Trade School, where he received a degree in Auto Mechanics. After receiving his degree, he was employed by Union Camp which later became International Paper for 42 years. During his tenure at "The Mill," he enjoyed working with his fellow co-workers, which they affectionately called him "Roscoe".

He was a member of the Prince Hall Order of Masons (past worship master), past board president of the North Highland Memorial Community Center, in which building the NHMCC was part of his vision. He was also a member of the Prattville Lions Club, and the Mount Sinai Alumni Association.

Henry loved to plan community events; he organized the Prattville Riding Club and sponsored the first Horse Show at the Mount Sinai Community Center. He enjoyed taking a ride to the Mount Sinai Community to talk to his herd of horses. He was an excellent cook and made the best chicken salad. He cooked all the vegetables for all Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church functions.

Henry was preceded in death by his wife Millicent Stoudemire Robinson, father Robert L, Robinson, Sr., his mother Mary Alice Pugh Robinson and brother, Reverend Timothy Robinson. On May 3, 2023, Henry L. Robinson entered into eternal rest at Arlington Rehab Center, in Birmingham, Alabama.

Thomas of Chicago, Illinois and Mary Olivia Adair of Prattville, Alabama; brothers Robert L. (Debra) Robinson, Jr„ Willie D.
