On June 27, 2020, James H. L. Key, earned his wings with his daughters by his side. James H. L. Key also affectionately known as "Buddy" was born December 2, 1945 in Macon County, Alabama to the late John and Edna Key. He was preceded in death by sister Vaunita Crosby (1944).
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Katherine Key, two daughters, Raemonica and Regina Keys, and two sons, James Keys and Joseph Jenkins and a brother Odell Key. He also leaves behind grandchildren, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, a host of cousin and friends.
He attended Carver High School where he graduated and shortly enlisted into the Vietnam War with an honorable discharge. He returned to the states and married his wife Katherine. Proceeding his death, he moved to Ohio where he worked and lived. He enjoyed watching sports and westerns. He was loved dearly by his neighbors. His personality was affectionate to those he encountered.
Buddy had a great sense of humor. James will be missed by many.
