Jammi Willette Marshall was born in Montgomery, Alabama, on July 18, 1976, to the late Willie James Gibbons Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Bowen. She departed this earthly life on Thursday, November 3, 2022.
All who knew Jammi, were aware of her strong willed, outspoken personality. She lived life to the fullest and she never met a stranger. She was always willing to help anyone, even if it meant sometimes sacrificing hers own needs. Jammi was very passionate about the people in her life, especially her close friends. She refused to let any obstacle keep her down. A couple of years ago, health issues began to place her in and out of the hospital. Through it all, Jammi still remained optimistic. She tried to maintain normalcy by working and enjoying life with her children and especially her grandchildren. She remained positive until she earned her wings. Jammi will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted grandmother; Mattie Mae Bidding; children, Steven Hunter, Taylor Hunter, Jada Parker, Carlos Coleman, and Robbari McKay; grandchildren, Finely, Anthony, Kyser, Derrick, Derriyana, Cali, Darren, Desani, Denzel, Patience, Jadaisha, Desarri, Demoni, Armonii, and Roquel; two brothers, Willie James Gibbons Jr., Tyree Gibbons; one sister, Selena Gibbons, two nieces; two nephews; two aunts, Emma Moore and Mildred Goodson; four uncles, Henry (Ola) Gibbons, Reginald (Phyllis) Gibbons, George (Jaquelin) Gibbons, and Thomas Gibbons; special cousins who were like siblings with whom she created unforgettable memories; Bradford, Bacarah, and Briana; special friends, Latoya Tcherisma Brown (since age nine), and Farron Livingston. And a host of other cousins, relatives and friends who loved and cared for her deeply.
