The late Jennie Mae Ashley was born January 2, 1939 to Joe and Cora Ashley. God called her home on May 17, 2020. Jennie attended Bullock County High School. She was a faithful, lifetime member of Lake Elam Missionary Baptist Church. "BONUE" loved to cook and was famous for her peach cobbler. She married the late Robert McGhee, who preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories three children : Robert (Sherry) McGhee, George (Sheila) McGhee, Lucretia Jennings; One sister Annie ( Henry) Long; sister-in-laws: Cynthia Ashley, Lois Ashley and Trina Ashley. Loyal friend Charles Smoke, devoted cousin Lela Jackson and a host of family and friends who loved her dearly.
