JIMMIE LEE HARRIS was born July 13, 1959, in Elmore, AL to the late Paul Harris Sr. and Rena (Doll) Harris. Jimmie was born into a large family of ten. He was proceeded in death by his son Frederick Moore. Four brothers; Felix Harris, Fred Harris, Otis Harris, Paul Harris, and sister Jacqueline Harris-young. Jimmie confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior at Jones Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Elmore, AL as a child. He later joined the Sweetening Community Church where he worshiped faithfully until his passing.
Jimmie was a graduate of Stanhope Elmore High School class of 1978. After graduating high school, he pursued his passion of carpentry. He had a lifelong career as a Master Carpenter for over 40 years.
Jimmie is survived by his children: Jermaine Moore of Texas, Derick (Veronica) Moore of Wisconsin, Jeffery Moore of Georgia, Rena (Kenneth) Wright of Maryland, Deloris Moore of Georgia, and Audriana (Ahmed) Blair of Maryland. Grandchildren: Quincey Scott, Josh Moore, Jaaliyah Moore, Jocelyn Moore, Jaeden Moore, Jeremiah Moore, Dre'Mond Nixon, De'Andrea Moore, Liam Moore, Xaiver Moore, Dorian Moore, Asia Moore, Javian Green, Kenneth Wright Ill, Kennedi Wright, Kendrick Wright, Gabriel Moore, London Blair, and Logan Blair. Three sisters: Alma (Clark) Parker of Ohio, Dolla (Isaiah) Manora of Alabama, and Thelma Harris of Alabama. One brother Alfonso Harris of Alabama. One Uncle, Rev. Beado (Annie) Harris of IL. A devoted nephew Ronnie Young Jr. Devoted friend Jimmy Lee Graves and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
