John'Neshia Harris Obituary

John'Neshia Van'Trell Harris was born on October 12, 2001 to Vannet Bostic and Johnny Harris in Montgomery, AL.

She confessed Christ at an early age and joined New Hope Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Clarence E. Varner. She was a member of Giving God Our Best Praise Team and the youth choir.

She attended G.W. Carver Senior High School, but received her High School Diploma from Bridge Academy, Selma, AL in 2019. In 2022 she received her certification in Phlebotomy, EKG-Medical Assistant from JES Health Services.

"NeNe" as she was affectionately called, became a cheerleader for the Goode St. Falcons from 2009-2010; a dance coach for the Purple Passionettes and a dancer with the Dancing Beats of Montgomery. She will always be remembered by her laughter, outgoing personality, encouragement to the girls on the dance team and her son Jerico.

John' Neshia was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Susie A. Bostic and Willie V. Frank Jr.; great grandparents, Elnora C. Long and Willie V. (Tracey) Frank, Sr. and Nina Young; two uncles, Alvin Bostic and Daniel Harris.

NeNe's beautiful and fond memories will forever be cherished by: Her loving son (the apple of her eyes), Jerico D. Mitchell, Jr.; very devoted parents, Vannet Bostic (James Means) and Johnny Harris (April Adams); two caring brothers, JaMichael Coleman and JaMontez Means; supportive grandparents, Mary Harris and William Davis, Jr. ; four aunts, Nina (Paul) Coles, Minister Lisa (Vada) Holt, Evangelist Christella (Willie) Sanders, and Nancy Harris; three uncles, Minister Antonio (Michelle) Bostic, Solomon Terrell Bostic and Robert Jackson; a special great aunt/ grandmother, Mary (Calvin) Turner; seven great aunts, Viola (Johnnie) Young-Richardson, Terrie (Herman Sr.) Sellers, Alice Allen, Earnestine Farris, Voncille (Bennie) Taylor, Valarie Nelson, Carmella Frank and Felicia (Kenneth) Watts; four great uncles, Johnny (Camara) Long, Sr., Arnold (Deborah) Frank, Jesse (Rosalyn) Frank, Sr., and Christopher Frank; two great-great aunts, Mary Riggien and Viola Powell; two great-great uncles, Shellie(Melissa) Davis and Ezekiel (Ruth) Roper; one niece, Alaina Coleman and one nephew, Brayden Coleman; a God-Father, John Mackey; a special friend, Jerico D. Mitchell, Sr.; a host of loving cousins, extended family and friends.
