Joseph Fitzgerald King, Sr. was born to the late Lille Belle King and James Massey on November 23, 1963 in Montgomery, AL.
Joseph "Joe" King believed in God and confessed Christ at an Early age. He joined Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL under the leadership of Edward Martin.
Joe graduated from Sidney Lanier High School (Poetsforlife) in 1982. Shortly after he went to Trenholm State Community College in Montgomery, AL.
He met his beautiful wife Nita King in 1990. The two later married on February 14, 2000.
Joe was a hard worker and worked on the Military Base (Gunter Annex) for 21 years.
Joe was a hard working man that cared for his family.
Joe favorite sports was Basketball and Football. His favorite teams was Los Angeles, Lakers. he was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a die hard "War Eagle" Fan.
Joe is preceded in death by his Father James Massey; Mother: Lillie Bell King; Brother: Carroll Treece "Tom" and Sister: Bessie King-Pickett.
He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories his loving and adoring wife: Nita King; Two Sons: Joseph Fitzgerald King, Jr. and Quinndarius Rashard Daniels; Three Daughters: Kendra R. King, Danita Cooper, and ChanQuri Davis; Three Sisters: Carolyne Lee Treece, Pamela (Nathaniel) Patrick and Brenda King; Five Brothers: George (Dorothy) Warren, Moses King, Jr. Michael King, Samuel (Vernice) King and Donald (Debra) King;(12) Grandchildren and (2) Great Grandchildren; a very special niece Chrysanthemum "Chrissy" King; best friends; Curtis "Tangolang" Wilson and Rodney "Roy" Talley and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sister in laws, brother in laws and dear friends.
