Kashime Brooks was born March 28, 1972, to Ernestine Stoudemire and the late Howard Stoudemire in Brooklyn, New York.
She confessed Christ at an early age at Little Rock Baptist Church and later in life became a member of St. Paul's Community Baptist Church in Brooklyn, NY for over 20 years.
She was educated in the New York School System and was a graduate of Jefferson High School. She later went on to become a social worker and had a great passion for the children that she worked with over the years.
She was preceded in death by her loving father, two grandmothers, Catherine Whitt and Geneva Mcghee; three uncles, John Henry, Albert, and McCluster Stoudemire; one aunt, Luzella Stoudemire; one great nephew, Trumaine Mitchell Jr.
Her memories will forever be cherished and remembered by a devoted mother, Ernestine Stoudemire, of Brooklyn, NY; two caring sisters, Phillippia Mitchell, of Selma, AL; and Tammy (Shron) Young, of Chester, PA; one protective brother, Artist Mitchell, of Richmond, VA; five nieces, Trineisha Mitchell, Sharena Mitchell and Jada Mitchell, all of Selma, AL; Raquel (Fashionique) Bonds, of Brooklyn, NY; and Essence Mitchell, of Richmond, VA; three nephews, Ivontay Young, of Brooklyn, NY; Trumaine Mitchell Sr. and Keonte Mitchell, both of Selma, AL; three aunts, Helen Brooks, of Selma, AL; Annie Bell Little, of Bronx, NY; and Annie Mae (Samuel) Wilson, of Prattville, AL; the love of her life, Leon Isler, of Columbus, GA; a very special best friend, Lisa Roman, Hampton County, SC; two God-children, Ashanti Taylor, of Brooklyn, NY; and Malik Roman, of Hampton County, SC; a host of great nieces, great nephews, and other relatives and friends.
