Mr. Larry Dobbie Phillips was born on June 10, 1951 to the late Viola Phillips and Hezekiah Tyus.
He confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Greater Mallard Chapel where he remained a faithful member until his health declined. as a dedicated member, he faithfully served as a church trustee and on the steward board.
Larry gained his angelic wings on February 17, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother Mrs. Viola Phillips; Father Hezekiah Tyus and a son Keidrich Derome Phillips.
He leaves to rejoice and cherish his memories a loving Wife: Dorothy Phillips; Two Devoted daughters: Yulonda (Thaylee) of Birmingham, Alabama and Stacy of Augusta, Georgia; Four Devoted Sons: Kimothy (Marlina) of Autaugaville, Alabama; Jerry (Monetta) of Selma, Alabama; Larry Jr. (Tawanna) of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Robert (Shacara) of Autaugaville, Alabama; a loving sister; Annie Mae of Autaugaville, Alabama; Two loyal Brothers: Isaac (Mary) of Demopolis, Alabama; and Willie of Fort Wayne, Indiana; nineteen grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren, a faithful and loving friend; Dwight Yelder and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
