Obituary

Levorn Sanders, Jr. (Lee) was born to the late Levorn Sanders, and Mary Smith Spivey on July 26, 1978 in Montgomery, Alabama. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Lily Missionary Baptist Church where he maintained his membership.

Levorn Sanders, Jr. attended G. W. Carver High School in Montgomery, Alabama. After leaving high school his love for cars flourished. It is from this affinity that he acquired special skills to repair any automobile and motorcycle. He worked years for AAA in Chicago, IL which heightened his passion for cars and motorcycles. On July 11, 2022, Levorn Sanders, Jr. leaned his motorcycle towards heaven and cruised to his heavenly home.

He was preceded in death by his wife (Tonya Sanders), and parents (Earnest & Minnie Sanders; Mose & Mary Smith, Sr.), father (Levorn Sanders, Sr.), stepfather (Frank Spivey) and three uncles, Thomas Smith, Lewis Smith Sr., and Charlie James Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memories four children, Le'Tara Sanders, Le'Deriyus Sanders (Montgomery, AL), Za'Mya Sanders (Selma, AL), Gavin Sanders (Chicago, IL), four step-children, Jasmine Brooks, Tatyana Thomas, Frederick Thomas, and Deandre Brooks (Montgomery, AL), Mother, Mary Spivey (Montgomery, AL), Step-Mother, Charlene Sanders (Montgomery, AL), siblings, Byron (Chantella) Jackson (Chicago, IL), Elliot Turner (Montgomery, AL), Yolanda Bean Bradford (Nashville, TN), N'Sheena Hill (Montgomery, AL), Lorenzo Spivey (Selma, AL), Valerie Spivey (Selma, AL) and Murell Spivey (Louisville, KY), uncles and aunts; Henry (Rebbie) Smith (Montgomery, AL), Mose (Tanner) Smith Jr. (Millbrook, AL); Theodis Smith, Morris Smith, and Larry (Virgina) Smith (Prattville AL), Thelma (Ollie) Nixon (Montgomery, AL); Barbara (Michael) Burt (Prattville, AL), Priscilla (Cleve) Palmore (Millbrook AL); Lillie Y. Patterson (Birmingham, AL), Earnestine Hollinshed (Los Angeles, CA), Henry (Brenda) Sanders (Detroit, MI), Earnest Sanders, Jr. (Montgomery, AL); Classie S. Thomas (Willie) (Montgomery, AL), Norma J. (Donald) Sanders (Auburn, AL), Brenda A. (James) Long (Montgomery, AL),. Devoted cousins, Trina Williams, Florencia Sellers, Carolyn Scott, Jessica Moore, La'Shonda Smith, Thomas Smith, Lewis Smith, Jr., Timmy Smith, Cleve Palmore. Special and devoted friends, Shakenya "Shug" Grant (Chicago, IL), Julia "Tootsie" Brown (Montgomery, AL), DeAndre "Money" McLemore, Antonio "Ton" Walton (Chicago, IL), and Eddie Jacobs (Montgomery, AL); godchildren, William Brown and Aniyah Brown (Montgomery, AL).
