Lillian Johnson

Lillian Johnson was born on September 16, 1966 in Elizabeth , New Jersey to the late Robert Johnson, Sr. (Elizabeth, New Jersey) and her mother Ruth L. Scott (Scotland Neck, North Carolina).  She was preceded in death by her husband Dwayne Cheeks.  Lillian was the 9th child of 11 children.  Lillian departed this life on May 28, 2020.    At an early age she gave her life to Christ.  Lillian was a member of Pink Lily Missionary Baptist Church Prattville, Alabama until God called her home.  She attended Central High School of Newark, New Jersey.

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving daughter and son-in-law Kellie Johnson (Kendrick Gipson) and two beautiful grandchildren: Zaniyyah Johnson and Eric Townsend all of Prattville, AL; six sisters: Cassandra (Charles) Williams, (Prattville, Alabama), Juanita (Lorenzo) Blanding, (North Carolina), Cynthia (Charles) Fitzpatrick, (New Jersey), Kathy (Keith) Little, (New Jersey), Greta Wells, (Prattville, Alabama), and Jackie Scott, (New Jersey); three brothers: Michael (Carolyn) Scott, (Alabama), Robert (Daphine) Johnson, Jr. (New Jersey), and James (Arelene) Scott (New New Jersey).  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends (Candy Ba Crew and 52 Family).
